Ebele Okaro, Belinda Effah, Chioma Akpotha, and Ekpenyong Bassey Inyang
The premiere of the movie, Musical Whispers, took place last Friday (May 30, 2014), at Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island, Lagos. The premiere, was attended by cast and crew of the movie, as well as various members of the public. Some of those at the premiere were Ebele Okaro-Onyiuke, Chioma Akpotha, Kalu Ikeagwu, Ekpenyong Bassey Inyang, Bond Emeruwa, Belinda Effah, Tonto Dikeh, and Patrick Doyle.
Musical Whispers was produced by veteran actress, Ebele Okaro, and directed by Bond Emeruwa. It stars Ebele Okaro-Onyiuke, Ekpenyong Bassey Inyang, Chioma Akpotha, Kalu Ikeagwu, and Belinda Effah. Reggae artist, Orits Wiliki, also makes a special appearance in the movie.
Synopsis
David and Agatha Kalu are blessed with a son David Junior (DJ) who has a medical disorder known as AUTISM – a developmental disorder that is characterized by impairment in communication, social interaction and behaviour. Agatha spends her time and energy trying to give her son the best love she can but her husband is frustrated with the demands and distractions that come from caring for DJ. To work out his frustrations, he starts having affairs and eventually walks out on the family. To compound issues, Agatha loses her job.
